PageTimer measures URL download times.
- This version measures a single URL you specify.
- This version measures 4 URLs from
Monitor Benchmark and one you specify.
Please note, this online tool uses some very advanced
dynamic HTML techniques. Not all browsers, operating systems, or target
pages are consistent with these techniques. In particular, Windows 2000
with IE 6.0.2800 is known to have problems. We are currently working to
correct these. If you encounter difficulty please let us know and we
will attempt to correct the problem.
- This experimental version runs test repeatedly.
It run a test, then waits 60 seconds and runs again. As data is
accumulated, the average results are reported. This version is
password protected. If you wish to try it, please contact us.
When using PageTimer please be aware of the following:
- Browsers typically cache pages and portions of pages to improve
performance. Cached content distorts page timings. Your timings will be most
accurate if you disable your browser's cache or set its size to 0.
- PageTimer can only measure URLs that can be displayed in a
frame. A few URLs use script to break out of frames. PageTimer
will not work with these pages.
